Jess Brichto has been dancing since the age of 6. A national award winner in Ballroom and Disco championships, Jess founded Start the Dance to help spread her passion to a wider audience and show that partner dancing can be fun and accessible to all.

Miriam Oppel studied Dance and Culture at the university of Surrey and has become one of UK’s most recognised salsa teachers and performers. She has trained in a variety of styles including; ballet, contemporary, jazz, urban, and classical Indian dance. All have given her a wealth of knowledge she can use in her teaching.

Milli is a professional dancer and choreographer. She is one of the country's leading Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz dancers and regularly performs in theatres round the country, and has won several awards for her choreography. She has been teaching for 6 years and loves putting together the perfect routine for each couple she works with that reflects their personalities and makes them feel confident and inspired to keep dancing after the big day. 

Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Melissa is a professional dancer and has been
dancing since the age of 9. Fully trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Latin, Street Latin and
Ballroom she holds a Diploma of Musical Theatre and a Diploma of Dance. As well as
performing Melissa absolutely loves teaching especially her lovely wedding couples and
with a wealth of knowledge she will soon have you “Dancing Cheek to Cheek”.

Michelle is a professional dancer and qualified ISTD teacher with distinction. She has danced all her life and loves choreographing the perfect routine for couples with different ability and styles. She always gets a buzz out of seeing her wedding couples dance and being part of the most special day of their lives!

Zahra is an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) award dancer in ballroom, latin and free style. She prides herself on her versatility, tailoring every routine to suit the couple. Her ethos is to dance like no one is watching, and she loves nurturing her passion for dance within every couple she teaches.

Claudio Vera Fernández is a professional dancer with over 20 years’ experience of teaching dance to both adults and children. Originally from Chile, he has performed and toured extensively in Latin America and Europe. Specialising in Latin American, he is qualified to teach a broad spectrum of dance styles.

Suzanne is a professional dancer originally from Vancouver, and has ten years teaching experience. She trained with The Radio City Rockettes in New York City and has performed in various films, the 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremony and with Mariah Carey. Suzanne loves working with her couples to create a dance they will remember for the rest of their lives!

Rose trained at the Musical Theatre Academy in London, she is also a singer and actor as well as a dancer. She has had various jobs throughout television and theatre, she most recently was in a musical at the National Theatre. She has been dancing from a young age and is trained in various styles including jazz, ballet, contemporary, ballroom and tap.

Lise trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and has created work for numerous dance companies and productions. She has been teaching since 1999 at all levels and for all ages and loves helping couples feel confident about their special day. She especially enjoys creating dances to unusual music choices!

Katie is a professional dancer and choreographer and has performed on TV, in music videos and at the Brit Awards and the London 2012 Opening Ceremony. Katie teaches numerous styles of dance to all ages and loves helping couples to create a memorable first wedding dance.

Originally from Edinburgh, Lindsay is a professional dancer and qualified teacher. She has performed in the UK and abroad with shows such ‘A Chorus Line’, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Having trained since a young age in a range of styles, Rhiannon graduated in professional dance at London Studio Centre. She has performed many pieces on stage by leading West End choreographers, and now working as a dance teacher, she loves helping to make a wedding couple’s day that little bit extra special.

Laith discovered dance at the age of 13 and after a year began teaching it. Laith specialises in Salsa and has performed and taught across Europe and the USA and has created his dance team, whose performance incorporate Salsa with Hip Hop and Jazz. Laith received a Lifetime Salsa Achievement award in 2007.

Louise has undertaken 4 years of professional dance training from London Studio Centre and is currently touring with my dance company Jazz co, performing a show choreographed by various West End choreographers. She has great experience teaching themed hen party dance classes, children dance parties and wedding couples! Louise adores working closely with couples to create their perfect wedding choreography!

Annette started her dance training at Smith Academy of Theatre Arts in Liverpool and Northern ballet school in Manchester. After working in the theatre she completed her teacher training as an ISTD teacher. Following 20 years running her own dance school entering children for exams and staging many shows she decided to concentrate wedding dance tuition. She gets a buzz out of hearing 'I've got two left feet' turn into 'I'm good at this'.

Karen trained at Arts Educational Schools and worked for many years in musicals, operas, films etc. She decided her performing career should give way to choreography and teaching. Hence, now working for several years as a choreographer for shows and weddings.  She particularly enjoys helping people to lose the dread of 'moving' and feel relaxed with dancing.

Originally from the US, Courtney began her dance training at the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since.  Her professional career began as a performer in musical theatre, but her and talent for dance quickly shifted her into the role of choreographer.  Courtney holds a Masters in Dance Anthropology and nurtures her love for cultural dance by teaching multiple styles and genres of  dance.  Whatever the desired style for a first dance, she enjoys using the steps to make a couple’s personality and love shine through!

Mecia has been dancing since the age of 3. She trained at London Studio Centre and has performed in various shows in the UK and abroad including the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. Mecia teaches a wide variety of dance disciplines and has been choreographing wedding dances since 2013. She enjoys nothing more than to see the journey each couple embark on learning the steps for their special day.

Born in Barcelona, Albert started dancing when he was eight. Trained at London Studio Centre; his performing career has taken him to France, Dubai, Spain and of course London. Experienced in a variety of dance styles as Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom and Latin; he enjoys adapting the choreography to the couple needs to make their special day even more unique.

Rebecca graduated with a Diploma and LTCL in Musical Theatre. Rebecca has an ATCL in teaching drama, dance and singing. She specialises in partner dance, classical dance, jazz and street dance. She enjoys teaching all styles and loves to create fun choreography that combines her various training. 

Amie is a dancer and choreographer based in London. From a young age Aime always knew that dancing was her passion and has trained in styles including Jazz, Street, Salsa and Bachata. She has performed on TV and in film in both the UK and in Bollywood. She loves to share her love of dance with her couples and is constantly impressed by their achievements and takes an enormous sense of satisfaction from her work.
